I graduated from my PhD 15 years ago, I’ve been a teacher and published author and peer reviewer for so long I find I can lose sight of what it’s like to be a newbie. But it makes me a better teacher, researcher and reviewer, if I can put myself into the shoes of people who don’t already know what I do.
