What do we talk about?

The goal of mypeeps.social is to share information about our lives and to re-inforce our connections with each other. What did you do today? What did you learn? How do you feel? What are your hopes and dreams? What help do you want?

Politics are part of our lives, and it's okay to discuss them here -- but to avoid flooding the channel, please us the uspol CW tag. This will let your friends opt in or out of those discussions according to their wants and needs.

How do you join?

To get an account on this instance, you must be someone in my extended circle of real-life friends. Anyone can request an account, but only people known to me will be approved. My goal is to create a small community here, no more than 50-80 people. In the unlikely event that we're wildly successful, perhaps I can help others spin off their own instances for
tangential communities.

Please don't do anything that would cause another instance to defed (completely block) our instance.

I am responsible for enforcing the community standards that let us participate in the Fediverse. When I receive reports, I will take the steps necessary to resolve the remote grievance if I find it has merit, and I will reach out to you via DM to inform you of the decision I've made.
